DESCRIPTION

The finite() function determines if an argument is finite.

The finitef() function is a single-precision version of finite().


PARAMETERS

x 

Is the value to test.


RETURN VALUES

The finite() function returns 1 when -Infinity<x<+Infinity, otherwise 0 is returned (that is when |x|=Infinity or x is NaN).
