DESCRIPTION

The gmtime() function converts a time in seconds since the Epoch (00:00:00 UTC, January 1, 1970) into a broken-down time, expressed as Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).

This function is not reentrant; see gmtime_r() for a reentrant version.


PARAMETERS

clock 

Is the time to be converted.


RETURN VALUES

On success, the gmtime() function returns a pointer to a static structure containing the broken-down time. This static buffer is shared with localtime(); subsequent calls to localtime() or gmtime() overwrite this buffer. On error, it returns NULL.
