As of version 6.2 the command line color utility can be used to set the foreground and background colors of the console window. The reference manual and the online help document how to use this utility. In addition to this utility you can still set the colors on Windows using the console windows properties dialog. To do so, right click on the console window title bar, select properties and then the colors tab.
Additionally, look to the PS1 paragraph of the ENVIRONMENT VARIABLES section of the sh reference page for setting the shell prompt colors. |
